Alaska 1997

Alaska:                            

                                          On the Spit in Homer.

Beautiful British Columbia:            This hanging glacier was above the road to  Seward, BC and Hyder, Alaska.         This next picture is from a little further north, on the Cassiar highway.               It was taken just before sunset and right after a thunderstorm had swept through the area.  At 149kb this picture will take some time to load if you click on the thumbnail.  The last one in this group was also taken along the Cassiar highway and shows one of the many beautiful, small lakes so common to the area.       No, it isn't upside down.

Here are a couple of scenes from the Yukon Territory.  A lake in the southern part of the Territory along the Alaskan Highway and downtown Dawson City.
